The Pennsylvania Medical Society is a 150 year-old organization that represents physicians, but also seeks to help the public improve their health and receive the best possible care. The brand program for the Society is built on the concept of preserving the sacred patient/doctor relationship against the encroachment of managed healthcare, technology and legislation, all seeking to control or limit the very human bond between doctor and patient. Our programs for the Society include public relations outreach in several forms and the creation and support of the Institute for Good Medicine, a Society spin-off that serves public and professional needs on the non-clinical, human side of medical practice and technology.
